libbitmask1 software package provides supports multi-word bitmask operations, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbitmask1
libbitmask1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbitmask1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbitmask1 *
You will get with libbitmask1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
